5 Years ago? I was attending SLCC getting my pre reqs for nursing and writing Spencer faithfully every week while he served a mission.

well it is good to be back in idaho. all week i have been in Utah and jess has been in idaho helping her mom. and to make a little extra money. i tell her that will be great to make that extra money to help pay bills and such. i think she was thinking to use it for other stufff. which is fine i dont mind. she deserves to go and get what she wants. dont take it the wrong way. she has done a lot and she don't always get to get stuff for her self. but i was real excited to see my wife and i always miss her when she is gone and so when we reunite i love to see her! i love her so much she i a great woman and when i say that i mean that. rarrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! i am sitting here typing this here blog and watching jess work. well it is time for lunch so i will type another day.

I am so excited that I get to see Spencer tonight! I have missed him like crazy! This week has been so busy for the both of us, which is great cuz it sure makes time go by quick! Spencer works at his job from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm and then he goes and does more construction on a side job! He has been getting home at 1 or 2am! As for me,I felt like I was going crazy this week! It hasn't been easy to work full time and do all my homework for school! I am mentally & physically drained. Not to mention I have a cold/flu. I took Paysley to the vet this week. The vet couldn't feel any babies yet and said it's probably too soon to tell. We hope that's the reason anyway! We will keep ya updated! (The photo on the right was taken at our old town house in Burley. Look at those Lillies! We planted them last year and here they are again! Don't mind my shadow!)

I'm gonna miss him...

This weekend has been fun! Although, Spencer's cough is back and I am getting what he had a week ago. Not good timing. Yesterday, instead of swimming, Spencer and I decided to go to the zoo. It was fun! We love their apple cones and our favorite animals to watch are the monkeys! We took pics, but our scanner isn't letting us scan them for some odd unkown reason! Darn Computers! Today I (along with Chade & Paysley) will be heading up to Idaho to work with my mom for a week! I have a hard time leaving Spencer! It just never gets any easier. He will be coming up on the weekend though. I am already looking forward to that. I will miss him like crazy! The only reason I am going to survive is I will be with my mom and her I always have a lot of fun!

Summer time fun!

Let me tell ya what has gone on about every day this week. I wake up, do my assignments for English. I hate them so bad it makes me want to cry! Then I workout. Somewhere during that time one of my sisters calls and wants to go swimming, so then I go swimming! We have had sooooo much fun in our pool. Both my sisters come along with all their kids and my Aunt Claudia comes too. I'm usually the one swimming with the kids. The kids are doing so good! Today Elle & Emma were swimming in the deep end! We have fun doing tricks like hand stands. Abby & Gage love to swim too, but they love to sit in the hot tub the most. Gage will surprise me when I am in the pool and say "catch me" and he'll jump right into my arms. After swimming for about an hour, I work on my tan with my sisters! Spencer is jealous that I get to go swimming so we are planning a swimming date for Saturday, anyone want to join? Spencer has had a tough week at work. He has been laying tile so his poor knees are killing him! He works so hard! I admire him so much! I can't wait to spend this weekend with him!

Happy Father's Day!

Spencer and I had a great weekend! He is now feeling better, so I am happy about that! On Saturday we went to my nieces Elle, Emma, and Abby's dance recital. They did such a great job! I have to brag a bit, I'm the first one who taught them how to dance! When Spencer was on his mission I babysat them a lot and I would turn on music and just start dancing with them. I know funny, huh? Then Saturday night we went to the horse show! It is a huge tradition in my family. It was fun to be with my mom and watch her ride. She is so talented!
Today (Sunday) we went and watched my sister Jen speak in church. She did a great job! Talk about emotional! She talked about fathers and she had me, my brother, and sister Patti all write a personal story about our dad and she read them in her talk! It was great! Elle, Emma, Abby, and Gage also sang in sacrament. It was fun! We told my dad that the kids were singing so he came to listen. He had no idea Jen was speaking so that was fun. It was a great surprise. After church, Spencer and I visited my uncle Denny, my dad, and my grandpa Christensen. I wish we could have seen my father inlaw, but he's in Idaho. Spencer is such a big daddy's boy, I love it! We hope they all had a great father's Day! They deserve it! I just want to take this time to tell Spencer how much I love him! He has taken such great care of me this weekend since I am in pain! He is so great and I could not ask for a better husband! He means everything to me and I love spending all the time I can with him! I love you, Spencer!

Great job Abby & Gage!!!

Yesterday I went to Abby & Gage's Preschool program. They sang fun songs for 30 minutes! Gage is at the top on the right hand side and Abby is on the bottom right hand side! The pictures didn't turn out so well because of the lighting. Anyway, they were so cute! They made me laugh! They kept waving to me, I loved it! I can't believe how big they are! Abby is 4 and Gage will be 4 in a few weeks!
Poor Spencer has been so sick this week. It started out with a sore throat and has turned into a full fledged cold. He has an awful cough! I have never heard him with such a bad cough before. He has been sticking toilet paper up his nose cuz it runs all the time, but he did not want me to take a picture (cuz I would probably post it). As for me, I have had a sharp pain on my left lower side of my abdomen so my Dr. is going to see me this Friday. That was sweet of him cuz he was booked out til the middle of August! Hopefully we will both start feeling better!

The weekend is almost over

Our weekend went well. Saturday we babysat my niece and nephews and then afterwards we went out to dinner and went grocery shopping, finally we have food! Today went well. Our talks in church are finally over with! They went well. We had our fan club front and center row (my sisters Jen and Patti and their kids). I talked on education and having my sisters there made it more emotional than I thought. School has been tough but I know it is also a huge blessing. It has been kinda tough having Max (the Yorkie) here with us. Lets just say he isn't too well potty trained (thank goodness for doggy diapers). I think Spencer appreciates our dogs so much more! Paysley and Max absolutely love being around each other. Spencer took Paysley outside for a minute and Max went crazy! They are cute together and we should be expecting pups in nine weeks!

Continuation of our Hard Day!

Well we called the lady that had Paysley and come to find out Paysley acted just how I said she would. She was scared and didn't warm up to Max (the yorkie), so we went and picked her up and Max too. I know Paysley will do better at our house which she is already doing. Max is adorable. He is smaller than Paysley. He weighs only five pounds while Pays and Chade weigh 7 & 8. Cross your fingers that everything works out!

Hard day!

Today was a hard day for me. Spencer dropped Paysley off at a house in Layton to get bred. I think Spencer and I were both shocked by the way I acted. I had crocodile tears last night just thinking about Paysley going to a house where she doesn't know anyone. Paysley gets scared around people she doesn't know, the only people she loves to be with is me, Spencer, and my mom. I know...she's a dog, but she's my dog. Hopefully this will all be worth it because I am not a fan of Paysley being gone! Chade has been looking for Paysley throughout the house all day. He is not a fan either!

Our week so far...

This morning I had an English class from 7am to 8:30am. It was online, so I have no idea what I am doing yet. The Instructor wasn't even on. Oh well. Hopefully I figure it out soon. Spencer and I have to give talks in our ward this Sunday. Yeah, fun huh? Exactly what we're thinking! haha! I was assigned to speak on continuing education. I was actually happy about that subject because it will be easy for me to speak on. Poor Spencer got Safety in the Gospel. He wasn't too thrilled about that one. I just finished writing mine, so hopefully it all goes well. Today I am getting my hair done by my big sis Jen! I am way excited about that. Tomorrow, my cousin is getting married so we will be attending that all day. Friday, Paysley gets bred! The lady has both a shih tzu male and a yorkie male. I think we are going to breed her to a yorkie. That way we can make more money off of the pups. I keep telling Spencer I will have a hard time getting rid of the pups because I become way too attached! Seriously...he'll have to pry the puppies from my hands! Anyone interested in a shorkie pup?
