So sweeeet...

Here is a pic. of Spencer & one of our pups. We love having the pups around. They are so much fun. Their eyes are now open and they can get around quite well. We sure are going to have our hands full! Spencer has enjoyed getting back to work. His finger still bothers him time to time, but he doesn't let it get in the way. Spencer has been working so hard. He goes to his job and then afterwards he goes and works on his side jobs. He has a ton of people wanting him to do work for them. It sure is great. Although, I miss my husband when he doesn't get home til late, but I'm keeping pretty busy myself. I am looking forward to Labor Day weekend so we'll both have Monday off, hopefully! I love Spencer so much! He has supported me so much while I am in school and not working. I appreciate how hard he works for us and I love him very much! I mean it when I say I married my best friend!

Back to School...

Well today was my first day back to school. Instead of lecture (that starts next week), we started the semester off with lab day. We learned how to draw blood and insert IV's. I didn't know whether I should be excited or cry about the first day, but it turned out great. I didn't eat at all before I went, so I felt a little light headed. We had one girl pass out on us. The Instructors did have a bowl of candy for us, so after the girl passed out, we all went and had some. We practiced drawing blood & inserting IV's on each other. It wasn't much fun to be poked. ! All in all, it was fun and I love the girls I go to school with!

There's no place like home!

Spencer & I had a fun weekend. It all started Friday night when we headed to Idaho. The traffic was so bad near Bountiful, so Spencer decided to take a detour (I was not too happy about it since it probably took longer, sorry hon!). When we got to Idaho, my awesome vet met us at his office so he could look at the pups & give Paysley a shot. I was thrilled when he told me they all look great! Then we went to my mom's house. My sister Jen and her fam had also come up. We had a barbeque and my nieces, Elle & Abby couldn't get enough of the pups; infact, they both picked out their favorites and held them all weekend. They were great puppy sitters! I love them to death! Anyway, Saturday I worked out with my mom and sister. It was a blast if I can say that about a workout :)! During that time Spencer went with his dad and brother fishing. He had a great time. I love it when he gets to spend time with his dad because he's such a daddy's boy and I love it! We went to the Cassia Fair that night. It was fun all except for the fact I had gotten sick earlier that day so I couldn't enjoy my favorite sandwich there at the fair. We saw a few old friends so that was fun. Then Sunday we spent time with my fam and Spencer's fam. We love Idaho and miss it there. I was telling my mom when we were driving through Burley how funny it is that I just love that lil town. There sure is no place like home; hence, the title!

Pics + Update

Puppy #1: Buster (boy)
Puppy #2: Frodo (boy)

Puppy #3: Scout (boy)

Puppy # 4: Bella (girl)

Puppy # 5: Oliver (boy)

This week has gone pretty good. All five of the pups are doing so well. Paysley is doing great at taking care of them. Paysley prefers them to sleep under our bed (she picked them up one by one and put them there). We are trying to get her to keep her pups in the kennel, but that is definitely a work in progress.
Spencer went back to work today. I miss him, but I know it's a good thing. Yesterday he went to the Dr. and got the pin pulled from his finger (The pin was in there to straighten the bone). Now he has a hole on the tip of his finger. It still hurts him. It is still swollen and he can't bend it. I sure hope work goes well for him.
As for me, I start nursing up again next week. This week I have been getting ready to go back; buying books, getting the last of my shots (yea), renewing parking permit, getting lab kit, etc. etc. etc.
As of right now, the pups look great so we are planning to go up to Idaho this weekend. I am sooooo excited. It's funny how that 'lil town does that to people, me especially :)!!!

THE PUPS ARE HERE!!!

Paysley had her pups tonight at around 7:40pm to 8:40pm! Then another one at 10:10pm. The delivery went so well! Paysley is a good 'lil mom! We have five pups! Four boys and one lil girl! We think she is done delivering, but just incase, we will post the pics tomorrow! Yea, we have shorkies! They are the color of their dad, the yorkie!

GeTtInG cLoSeR...

Paysley still has not had her babies yet. I have been checking her temperature and this morning it dropped. I read that when her temp. drops, she will go into labor within 24 hours. I sure hope so! I want to be able to go to the Cassia Fair next weekend and my vet said I could travel with the pups if they are a week old. Paysley is restless and breathes heavy which is a sign that labor will happen soon. Her pups are kicking and moving like crazy! It is so fun to feel them. Well...here's the update for people who were asking! P.S. I will be posting pics of the pups on the blog I made for them. It is at paysleyspups.blogspot.com

Fun times!

Last night I went with my aunt to the Usana Ampitheater to see Martina Mcbride in concert! It was so awesome! We had so much fun dancing and belting out her songs (Thank goodness the speakers are so loud :) She is an amazing singer and classy woman! We had great seats! It was a blast! We even made it on the big screen on the stage! Thanks Tam for the fun night! Chris Young and Jack Ingram also performed. They were both great as well!

I am now finished with summer classes and have a break for a couple weeks, boy am I excited! I can finally have a summer! Paysley's pups are due this next week, so stay tuned!
